TRAINING FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT

 

1.       Office and School Facilities

SAPPHIRE AVIATION’s main administrative and academic training facilities are located at No. 8128 Old Sucat Road, Brgy. San Dionisio, Paranaque City, PHILIPPINES.  Located at the heart of Metro Manila along a major transportation route easily accessible via public and private transport, this compound is just across SM Sucat, a popular commercial and entertainment center for the young and old alike.  This location houses SAPPHIRE AVIATION’s administrative and executive offices, classrooms, aviation library, flight operations office, conference rooms, faculty office, aviation laboratory/workshop, and mock-up airline cabin. Designed to provide students a healthy environment for studying and learning, all offices, library, conference rooms and classrooms are fully air-conditioned.

All pilot school ground instructions for all pilot training courses of SAPPHIRE AVIATION are held at this main location.

2.       Flight Training Operations

Flight training operations for SAPPHIRE AVIATION’s pilot training courses are held at its flight operations center located at Brgy. Santor, Tanauan City in Batangas, Philippines, about 65 kilometers southwest of Manila, where its hangar and maintenance facilities are located.

Extended scheduled flight trainings are held at the Iba Airport in Iba, Zambales, where the School has a beach resort that can provide accommodation for its student pilots. Student pilots can perform their flight training maneuvers in open air spaces all over Central Luzon and as far as La Union, Pangasinan, Bulacan and the western shoreline of Luzon.

 

3.       Flight Training Fleet

SAPPHIRE AVIATION’s’s training fleet includes two (2) CESSNA 152s, a twin-engine BEECHCRAFT TravelAire, a CESSNA 172, a CESSNA 150. Each of these trainer aircraft is comprehensively insured, well-maintained, and properly hangared to protect them from adverse weather conditions. As part of SIAA’s standard operating procedures, pre-flight and post-flight checks are conducted regularly whenever a school aircraft is flown for flight training or flight testing.

ELITE P-135 Flight Simulator Trainer

To support the flight training of its student pilots, Sapphire Aviation operates an ELITE P-135 Flight Simulator Trainer with multi-engine capability.

 

4.       Aircraft Maintenance Facilities

SAPPHIRE AVIATION’s  Aircraft Maintenance Facility is located at its hangar at Brgy. Santor, Tanauan City in Batangas, Philippines. The facility includes ample space for aircraft parking, pilot briefing rooms, training rooms, aircraft spare parts room, tools and equipment room, and sleeping quarters for flight instructors, aircraft mechanics, student pilots, support staff, and other personnel.

 

 

5.       Aircraft Maintenance Workshop

SAPPHIRE AVIATION’s  Aircraft Maintenance Training Laboratory and Workshop is located at its Paranaque Campus at No. 8128 Old Sucat Road, Brgy. San Dionisio, Paranaque City.

The AMT Workshop boasts of modern aviation tools and equipment aimed at providing AMT students ample hands-on exposure to real aviation environments to better familiarize themselves and thereby maximize their learning to become skilled aircraft mechanics later. 

The Workshop features a real CESSNA 150 Airframe that AMT students can tear down and re-assemble, as well as a cut-away CESSNA 150 engine and landing gear system that shows the students how such aircraft engines and landing gear systems work and  how to service, maintain and repair them if and when necessary.

6.       Flight Attendant Mock-up Cabin Trainer

SAPPHIRE AVIATION’s  Flight Attendant Mock-up Cabin Trainer is a state-of-the-art simulation of an airline cabin that afford Flight Attendant Training Students a real environment where they can learn about passenger service, emergency procedures, pre-flight routines, and passenger courtesies.
